About this place
One pleasure of Dégorgement is being able to choose Champagne by the glass rather than by the bottle. Visitors report that they can compare several Champagnes this way, and that red, white and sweet wines are also available.
Some diners have enjoyed sweetfish confit, followed by chocolate mousse paired with dessert wine. Others single out the mushroom and porcini terrine as a memorable dish. It is a good fit for an evening of trying different food and wine combinations. The menu also lists assorted tempura, local hard clams steamed with Champagne and Black Angus beef tongue braised in red wine.
You can drop in for a glass and a snack, or settle in for a meal to share. Reservations are accepted. The bar is open Tuesday to Saturday from 17:00 to 23:00 and closed on Sundays and Mondays.
